The story behind Netwerk-ed
I stumbled into a networking program, earned a C in computer hardware, and sat through an interview where I heard how hard the field would be—but not one word that I could do it. Almost nobody in the room looked like me, so I walked away.
I eventually found my way back and became a network engineer. Netwerk-ed is what I needed then: the truth about the work and the encouragement to believe I could learn it.
Be honest about the journey—but never let somebody walk away believing they can’t make it through.
Let’s make this make sense
Whether you’re brand new to networking or overwhelmed by conflicting advice, we’re starting with the parts that help you move.
I’m creating an original networking guide with plain-language explanations and real-world examples that help the concepts click.
Get clear direction on what to learn, where certifications fit, and how to turn your interest into a plan.
Mentorship, workplace soft skills, and room to ask the questions you’ve been holding back.
New to networking?
No tech background. No certification. No pretending you understand words nobody has explained to you yet.
Computer networking is how devices connect and communicate—from the Wi-Fi in your home to the systems that keep businesses, hospitals, banks, and the internet running. Network engineers help build, maintain, and troubleshoot those connections.
Then you’re exactly who I’m building this for. We start with the foundation, explain the language, and connect each concept to something real. You do not need prior experience to begin.
